Veedersburg -- George Hancock, 82, of Veedersburg Rt 4, died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 1987, at Community Hospital, Williamsport. He was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a retired factory worker at the Veedersburg Brickyard. Born in Fountain County, Sept 1, 1904, son of Frank and Lillie M. Kunkle Hancock, he was married April 20, 1935 in Attica to Gladis M. Smith. She survives. Also surviving two daughters, Patricia Keeling and Charlotte Starkey; a son, George A, three brothers, Frank, Jr., Charles and LaMoine; a sister, Christine Solomon, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services 10 a.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Officiating: Rev. Dan Immel. Burial in Osborne Prarie. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. - kbz

Starkey of Covington; a son, George A. of Veedersburg; three brothers, Frank
Jr. of Lake Placid, Fla., Charles and LaMoine, both of Stone Bluff; a sister,

was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday
